Brant wins GLIAC title

Ramone Brant was the lone GLIAC champion at the GLIAC Track and Field Championships, winning the 110 hurdles with a NCAA provisional mark of 14.6 seconds. He helped lead the Dragons to a 5th place finish on the men's side while the women came in 8th of 11.

Two Dragons just missed championships, as Lee Miller came in 2nd in the pole vault with a vault of 15-9.75, while Kayla Ellks came in 2nd in the triple jump with 35-6. Meghan Gill was 3rd in the high jump with 5-1.75.

Other top finishers for TU included Dominic Colvin (400 - 5th), Eric Maag (high jump - 4th, 6-5), Travis LeFlore (high jump - 4th 6-5), Antoine Allen (long jump - 4th, 22-8.5; triple jump - 4th, 44-9.5), Ray Robinson (discus - 6th), John Havrilla (hammer throw - 5th), and Logan Garcia (decathlon - 5th).

Three champions at Tiffin Twilight

Three performances earned individual victories for TU's track squad at the unscored Tiffin Twilight meet on a rainy and cool day at Frost-Kalnow Stadium. Ramone Brant won the 110 hurdles in 14.68, while Antoine Allen won the triple jump with a leap of 13.73 meters. On the women's side, Kayla Ellks won the triple jump with 10.75 meters.

Other top finishers for TU included Emily Kellepourey (javelin - 2nd, 36.2 meters) and Stephen Miles (800 - 3rd, 1:54.74). Cara Roach (discus), Eric Maag (high jump), Allen (long jump), Ray Robinson (discus), and Jared Wolff (javelin) all took home fourth place finishes.
